In one song, Mike Senior edited the cutoffs of bass and strings to coincide with strong drum hits, which added to the apparent punch of the drums.^[ Mix Rescue: Lingua Funqa] This is perhaps because the tails of those instruments aren’t Frequency masking the drum transients.
