Learn others’ songs

The best musicians are the best listeners. There are many musicians who have made their mark simply by being able to hear and actualize something nobody else could. This is another form of Imitation is an exercise in finding one’s voice. Learning other people’s songs thoroughly can help teach the logic of a song. Start with learning and memorizing your favorite songs.
