Markers and regions
Shift+m to create and name a marker.
Double-click section between markers to create a time-selection.
With snap on, you can snap to markers.
Drag regions to move all the items within it.1
Shift+cmd+r to convert markers into regions (note: a region must be bookended by markers for this to work).
